Registration of non-resident Lebanese

The Consulate General of Lebanon in Dubai, alongside the Embassy of Lebanon in Abu Dhabi announce the opening of voter registration for Lebanese citizens residing abroad to participate in the 2026 parliamentary elections, in accordance with Law No. 44 dated June 17, 2017.
Registration Period: From October 2 until November 20, 2025, at midnight (Beirut time).
Methods of Registration:
Online Registration:
Visit the official registration platform: https://diasporavote.mfa.gov.lb
Or access it via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website: www.mfa.gov.lb
and follow the link to the registration page.
In-Person Registration:
Visit the Embassy or Consulate in person, where our staff will assist you in completing the online registration form on-site.
Steps for Online Registration
Step 1: Create an Account
Enter your personal details (first name, family name, phone number, and email address) and complete the verification process.
Step 2: Activate Your Account
Check your email inbox for a confirmation message and click the link provided to activate your account.
Step 3: Enter Your Address
Provide your country of residence, the relevant mission, and the emirate where you reside.
Step 4: Verify Your Name on the Electoral List
If you select Arabic, you must enter your details (Governorate, District, Town, Registration Number, etc.) to search for your name in the electoral list. Once your name appears, you may complete your profile.
If you select English or French, you may enter your profile details in the chosen language.
Step 5: Upload the Required Documents
First mandatory document: Lebanese ID card, Lebanese passport (valid or expired), or individual civil status record, (accepted for registration only, not for voting).
Second mandatory document: Residency permit, foreign ID, foreign passport, or Lebanese passport stamped with a migration visa or work permit, or a foreign driver’s license.
Important Notes
Once submitted, the polling location cannot be changed.
Residents of Abu Dhabi and Al Ain must register at the Embassy of Lebanon in Abu Dhabi.
Residents of Dubai and the Northern Emirates (Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, and Umm al-Quwain) must register at the Consulate General of Lebanon in Dubai.
For accuracy, it is recommended to complete the required fields (Governorate, District, Town, Registration Number, etc.) in Arabic.
In-person registration: Applicants must appear personally at the Embassy or Consulate with the needed documents and complete the designated registration form.
